FIX Onboarding Specialist

We are searching for a qualified candidate to join our FIX Onboarding team. The candidate should have a desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic trading environment. We seek a self-starter that can work independently as well as thrive and contribute to a growing team

What you will do:

FIX certifications and Vendor Management:

Manage the end-to-end FIX certification processes for new and existing trading partners.

Create FIX ATDLS by capturing the algorithm suite based on the firms FIX specification documents.

Coordinate with external parties, such as brokers and exchanges, to facilitate certification testing.

Collaborate with technology teams to enhance and optimize FIX- related processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.

Documentation:

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to the onboarding process, FIX configuration, and troubleshooting guidelines.

Provide training to internal teams on FIX-related topics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) working with FIX protocol, ATDL, and its implementation in a trading environment.
• Strong understanding of algorithmic trading concepts and electronic trading systems.
• Familiarity with financial markets, order routing, and execution workflows.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) and understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP) is a huge plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable with working during AMER or EMEA time zones.
