Fire PMA Sales Representative

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • The primary function of this position is to sell new PMA agreements for commercial and on all company products and services including fire alarm and suppression.
  • Maintain a renewal base with existing customers.
  • Proven sales experience in B2B services with strong prospecting skills including telephone and in-person cold calling.
  • Determine customer needs and develop sales strategies to meet those objectives.
  • Adherence to monthly performance budgets.
  • Close sufficient sales to meet sales plan objectives.
  • Conduct building surveys to support the development of estimates.
  • Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of PMA service contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and utilizing outlined marketing strategies.
  • Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company service offerings.
  • Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog that will support achieving the designed sales plan.
  • Maintain correct and complete records of all sales-related activities.
  • Submit all required sales reports, expenses, competitive activity and correspondence in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Develop a positive ongoing relationship with customers to ensure that Chubb is meeting their requirements to ensure long-term customer loyalty.
  • Support the service department to generate leads for service or equipment/device upgrades.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Previous sales experience in a related business with a proven successful record of accomplishment that is verifiable.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills; must have the ability to persuade and close sales and have the ability to handle a variety of situations encountered during sales process and be disciplined to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision/self-motivated and desire to work on a winning team.
  • Strong detail-oriented, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective at building relationships - with a strong client service orientation.
  • Adaptable to changing environments.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Must be willing to travel for customer calls.
  • Must have a valid Provincial driver's license with a clean driving record.
