This position can be filled using a hybrid approach, with the option to work in our Berlin or Hamburg office for two days per week.
What You Will Do
Own the entire accounts payable process for our German entities
Book various business transactions (AP, GL, Intercompany) and prepare/execute payments
Book cash/bank reconciliations
Assist with cash planning procedures
Ensure account reconciliations are completed on time and open items are cleared in a timely manner, especially with the monthly reporting requests
Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in accordance with IFRS and HGB
Participate in the continuous improvement of the Group’s internal financial processes, reporting, and control system
Support with local statutory audit and tax filing preparations and submissions in accordance with German laws
Interact with other internal stakeholders in accounting matters as needed
