The Vice President, Financial Services at Blend will lead the strategic expansion of our Financial Services vertical. This role is integral to driving revenue growth and expanding our client base and market leadership in the financial sector.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to drive growth within the financial services vertical, including identifying market trends, client needs, and competitive landscapes.
- Directly engage with key global clients and prospects. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and understanding their unique business challenges and goals.
- Establish Blend as a thought leader in financial services by driving and actively contributing to the development of innovative service offerings, industry insights, and content.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations, emerging technologies, and best practices within financial services to provide thought leadership and innovative solutions to clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to develop tailored solutions and deliver value to clients.
- Drive business development efforts, including proactively identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and participating in client presentations to win new business.
- Represent Blend’s Financial Services vertical globally, serving as its primary spokesperson across various forums, platforms, and events, to enhance the firm's visibility and reputation within the financial services sector.
- In-depth understanding of the global financial services industry, especially the impact of data analytics, AI and technological innovations.
- Demonstrated success and a proactive and entrepreneurial approach to global business development and client management with F1000 clients in the Financial Services industry.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of motivating diverse, high-performing teams.
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking with robust execution abilities in a global setting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for managing client stakeholder relationships as a trusted advisor.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
- Extensive global experience in the financial services industry, with a strong background in consulting or client-facing roles.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale projects and initiatives across global markets, driving innovation, and leading growth strategies.
Reporting Relationships:
- Based in the US with global responsibilities.
- Reports directly to the Chief Client Officer.
- This role will build a dedicated global team within the Financial Services vertical, with potential for team expansion based on market needs and opportunities.
