Financial Reporting Manager

HelloFresh is looking for an ambitious self-starter to support the Head of Financial Control on a wide variety of key areas covering Treasury, Reporting (Month End and Year-End), Audit and Budgeting. This individual will be a major contributor to our Finance team and will be based in our London office “The Fresh Farm” on a hybrid-basis and will have demonstrable experience with financial reporting, variance analysis, business partnering and internal-control related responsibilities.

What you will be doing:

  • Reporting: own month-end and quarterly reporting packs for submission to Global.
  • Analysis: provide insights & variance analysis versus budget
  • Cashflow Forecasting: presenting an accurate forward-looking view of our cash inflows and outflows including consideration of cash requirements and Group loan requests (with multi-currency exposure).
  • O2C: end-to-end ownership of the O2C/Revenue accounting process (led by Global) including postings, balance sheet reconciliations, commentary and detailed review.
  • Payroll accounting lead including full accounting ownership, designing accounting for new benefits or payroll changes and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Month End: in addition to payroll and O2C, includes G&A cost centre management and IFRS 16 along with undertaking relevant ad hoc or intercompany postings and assisting with balance sheet reviews.
  • Budget process: lead on the Headcount and G&A budget processes including business-partnering across all relevant functions (People, Strategy, Legal etc.)
  • VAT Return: monthly submission of return including balance sheet reconciliation
  • Audits: Ensure audit preparedness and compliance. Support external audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility. 
  • Year-End: lead on the preparation of the annual financial statements and annual corporate tax return submission (including capital allowances and R&D claims)
  • Communicating on a regular basis and exchange ideas and best practices with our global team
  • Be a leader in the finance team working across the team

Location: The HelloFresh Farm, 60 Worship Street, EC2A 2EZ, London

Hybrid working: 3 days in the office or at site, 2 days flexible working
