Position Summary:

Mast-Jägermeister is seeking a savvy Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our motivated and fast paced Finance team in White Plains, NY. The FP&A Manager will work on a variety of tasks, including modeling, reporting, metrics, and forecasting. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, self-motivated, and able to execute complex tasks and projects while maintaining a great attitude.  

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Lead and coordinate the planning and forecasting process around key financial metrics including volume, revenue, and A&P during the annual budgeting period and subsequent reforecast periods

·       Build and manage financial databases and reports by collecting, organizing and analyzing a wide range of data sources to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations and insights to management for decision making purposes

·       Support Senior Leadership Team and Department heads with in-depth financial analysis, building presentations for high-level meetings

  • Work closely with cross-functional leaders to highlight opportunities, track progress and to flag performance challenges in order to deliver on the Company's annual plan
  • Analyze monthly results to provide commentary and insights on financial performance and identify any R&O to the plan, including analysis used by Global Controlling for key market overviews.

·       Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators to drive insights to the business

·       Assist in the continued development and implementation of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools

·       Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives and other ad hoc projects

Directly manage one Finance Analyst, providing support, coaching and development

Requirements

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred
      • 5-7 years work experience
      • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, strong Powerpoint and SAP skills preferred
      • Capable of analyzing detail as a means to deliver the big picture message
      • Highly organized, motivated, self-starter. Critical thinking & problem solving skills required
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
