About the role:
Bosta is looking for a seasoned Financial Planning & Analysis Lead for its group who can lead Bosta’s FP&A activities. The position will be mainly in charge of the FP&A activities to deliver on all financial planning requirements including monthly and quarterly reporting, supporting the budgeting process and leading efficiency initiatives.
What you will be doing:
- Ownership of reporting and planning activities for all areas of business, inclusive of monthly reporting package, forecasting and budgetary control.
- Coordinates with business units on annual budget and rolling forecasts, challenge assumptions and recommend strategic adjustments for optimal financial performance.
- Building a long-term dynamic financial model that shall be used in the group’s reporting and budgeting.
- Identify trends, provide financial insights, and recommend actions based on sound analysis.
- Serve as a business partner and finance liaison to cross functional teams, partner with the operational and commercial teams on areas of potential efficiencies, profit optimization and provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
- Recommend, develop, and implement process enhancements and financial plans as required.
- Support Ad hoc financial and non-financial/competitive analysis and benchmarking reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CMA or similar certificates is a plus
- 5+ years’ of experience, including at least 1-2 in financial planning and analysis
- Attention to Detail
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Oracle NetSuite is a plus
- Experience with working with technology teams
- Strong interpersonal skills - ability to work with a diverse team and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable accounting/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and company procedures
- Ability to speak and write English fluently
