The Role
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference on a global scale? Join our team and contribute to the future of fusion energy as Financial Controller in the UKIFS Finance Team. In this role you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company’s financial health and compliance with all relevant standards and regulations, delivering a robust financial control framework and accurate financial reporting as UKIFS transitions to a company with increasingly complex financial processes and transactions as it designs and builds a prototype fusion energy plant.
You will support the Finance Director in the financial transformation to a registered company that leads a complex major programme with large delivery partners from industry. Building a company within fusion is new to the UK, and whilst this is an exciting challenge, you will need to be comfortable with uncertainty and ambiguity as we build UKIFS Ltd. and its team. The role will be helping to lead the establishment of a major programme and limited company at its foundation stage. You'll have the opportunity to build a team, set strategies and design and embed new procedures and processes as the company develops.
