We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to play a crucial role in developing and managing the accounting and control team. The role will report directly to the Finance Director.

Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting and reporting
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including supervision of direct reports
Collaborate cross-functionally to drive process improvements and efficiencies
Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement
Lead and coordinate the annual financial audit process
Stay on top of changes in accounting standards and regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and guidelines

What you need to be successful

ACA/CPA or equivalent qualification
4+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
Excellent understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements
Proficiency with accounting systems
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and integrity in financial reporting
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence decision-making
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively
Proactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative and drive continuous improvement
