THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Financial Controller to join our finance team. In this role, you will oversee A/R, A/P, as well as fundamental controllership tasks while managing a team of 3 finance professionals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management and excellent analytical skills. This position reports directly to the Head of Finance & Control while working closely with the CFO. This is a great opportunity for a junior controller looking to grow or a Senior Accountant looking to step up to a controllership role.
YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY
Managing all accounting operations for 4 entities (3 Dutch, 1 US) including Billing, AR, AP, as well as fundamental controllership tasks.
Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements
Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Managing the finance team consisting of 2 Accountants and 1 Finance Assistant
Helping with further development/implementation of MS Dynamics modules
Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Booking general accrual and journal entries, including payroll
Supporting monthly VAT and other tax filings
Preparing cash flow statements and projections
Managing internal budgeting and procurement approval workflows
