THE ROLE
New Guards Group is looking for a Junior Financial Controller. Reporting directly to the Senior FP&A Manager as part of the Corporate FP&A team. You will be responsible for the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting in collaboration with crucial departments, monitoring results against budget/forecast, and providing both strategic insights and in-depth analysis.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- You will prepare a budget and business plan with monitoring responsibility for the different entities of the group;
- You will support in developing periodic presentations and decks for top management on monthly and quarterly results;
- You will monitor expenses, investigating discrepancies with the budget;
- You will perform a rolling forecast process for all the entities of the group and at a consolidated level;
- You will work on month-end financial reporting activities.
WHO YOU ARE
- You have 1-2 years of experience in controlling, consulting, or in a similar role
- You have a BA in Economics disciplines
- Previous experience in the fashion industry will be considered a plus
- You have excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
- You have knowledge of the main MS Office tools (excellent Excel and PowerPoint proficiency)
- You have previous financial modeling experience (budgeting and monitoring)
- You have strong analytical skills
- You can use Navision / Qlik
- You have the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional partners
- You have a hands-on approach and willingness to work in a team
