Job description
The purpose of the role you will be on is ownership and responsibility for the accounting and finance control processes for a division within Experian, providing advice on accounting and governance matters.
What you'll do?
- Divisional Revenue, Cost, Balance Sheet and Operating Cash flow processes;
- Ensure all financial data is complete, accurate and all transactions are consistent with Experian's accounting policies and IFRS;
- Ensure excellent financial data quality;
- Complete month/year end tasks following Experian requirements and close timetable;
- Provide and complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations;
- Oversight and review of the transactions processed and reconciliations by our Shared Service Centre;
- Partner with the Billings Team to guarantee an accurate and complete billing/invoicing schedule is maintained and supported;
- Act as a key member of Finance Management team to determine priorities and lead process and organisational change improvements.
What you'll bring?
- 3+ years working in a Finance Department with relevant in-role work experience.
- Experience as an Auditor in one of the Big Four accounting firms
- Proven experience in finance management and audit processes.
- Desire to understand the commercial drivers of a business;.
- Presence, and senior stakeholder management in both finance and non-finance roles;
- Translate numerical information to non-finance people;
- Knowledge and understanding of technical accounting – e.g. revenue recognition, capex, etc.;
- Excellent English language skills;
- CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
