So, what’s the role?
The Growth Finance team is uniquely positioned within Kin to serve as a strategic decision making partner to various teams (Operations, Marketing, Insurance, etc.) throughout the company on growth and profitability while also owning the build out of Kin’s annual operating plan and ongoing reporting and analysis around performance.
The Financial Analyst is a highly visible position on the Growth Finance team, delivering impactful analysis in a dynamic, rewarding, start-up environment.
You will have the opportunity to support the building and maintenance of key financial modeling, reporting, and presentation of Kin’s insurance product. You will partner cross-functionally with product, insurance, and claims teams to better predict retention, loss ratio, and rate impacts across different products and geographies. Additionally, you’ll support the Growth Finance team’s work on other high-impact projects like Key Performance Indicator development and reporting and building annual/quarterly operating plans. This role offers a unique opportunity to own and improve key processes within the Growth Finance team, while partnering closely with key leadership and executive stakeholders and developing a deep understanding of Kin’s business & product environment.
The ideal candidate is data-focused, intellectually curious, growth-minded, and has exceptional relationship-building, communication, and process improvement skills. They have a strong background in financial analysis and modeling, with either experience in the insurance industry not required but recommended.
