POSITION SUMMARY:

Infinity Transportation Equipment Leasing (“ITEL”) is a management arm for Global Atlantic Financial Group and KKR with a current portfolio value of $2B.  ITEL specializes in leasing rail transportation equipment to all major Class I railroads and large commodity companies. We are looking for a proactive and motivated Financial Analyst. This individual will enhance the financial environment by being on-the-ground to learn and account for changes within the portfolio as well as new acquisitions. This role offers the unique opportunity to directly impact the Rail Teams revenue streams and expense items by applying finance and accounting related findings to our financial models. An instrumental hire as the team continues to scale, this individual will be expected to take on more responsibility at a rapid pace.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Function as an internal consultant to help Sales make decisions about originations and renewals involving existing equipment
  • Present conclusionary analysis (e.g., Yield, ROA, MOIC, and WAL) as well as offer investment direction and sensitivity analysis to CFO and others in upper management
  • Participate in month end closing by taking ownership of certain tasks
  • Work with the company’s existing pricing model, while working on continuous improvement of the model and processes and offer correlation analysis in a statistical oriented environment
  • Provide reports to senior management regarding characteristics of the portfolio, including concentrations by a variety of measures including asset type and expiration profile
  • Assist with creation of internal board packages for all asset acquisitions
  • Collaborate with Rating Agencies to help drive create securitizations with efficient capital structures as well as appropriate DSCR covenant protection
  • Present summarization analysis based on public earnings calls, 10-Qs, and 10-Ks literature for key industry players
  • Deliver Ad-hoc reporting to the marketing KKR and Global Atlantic internal teams, and ITEL upper management

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business
  • 2+ years’ experience; will consider recent graduate for ideal candidate
  • Proven expertise with Excel e; familiarity with SQL, Tableau, and Alteryx a plus
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Constantly looking to improve on processes; never satisfied with the status quo
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness and eagerness to be an information sponge, with keen attention to detail
