Financial Analyst FP&A - Operations

We are looking for a Financial Analyst, FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) - Operations to support the operations budgeting process from initial planning to analysis at month end close. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will be part of guiding major decisions and gain insights into all business areas of HelloFresh. As part of the Finance team, you will play a key role in supporting senior leaders on the financial development of our business.

Lettuce share what this role will be responsible for

  • Contribute to month end close, ensure processes are in place for accurate and timely reporting over every dollar spent within ops on weekly/monthly basis, be in the details of all variances
  • Be the master of Operations reporting: Consolidate and upload costs on a weekly basis, setup and eventually drive the weekly performance review meetings with relevant packages
  • Support with the budgeting submission process to our headquarters in Berlin for packages assigned including structuring processes, compiling and questioning all inputs and building new forecasting models
  • Execute analysis of new initiatives, e.g. contribution margin analysis of new products
  • Be THE business partner for Operations
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as necessary
  • All other duties, as assigned

  • A bachelor’s degree in a Finance related field from a top university 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a FP&A role with a strong analytical mindset, you enjoy problem solving and making decisions backed by data 
  • Strong project management skills and are comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders of all levels working collaboratively to push all projects to completion
  • Advanced Excel skills, experience with financial modeling would be a plus 
  • Tableau, SQL skills would be a plus
