About the role: 

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our growing Finance, Analytics & Strategy Team (FAST). You will play a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making by generating business intelligence, conducting financial analysis, forecasting future trends, and delivering insightful reporting. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering a best-in-class member experience and driving efficient scale of Collective’s business.

This role will focus on Collective’s Member Services business unit, providing an opportunity to develop deep operations optimization expertise. You will be at the forefront of supporting an efficient global service operation pioneering a new generation of AI powered, SaaS businesses. Responsibilities: 

  • Analysis: Analyze data to uncover actionable insight, trends, and patterns that inform business strategies and decision-making.
  • Modeling: Build sophisticated models, perform scenario analyses, and generate reliable operational forecasts of headcount, vendor spend, production planning, and member retention.
  • Reporting: Collaborate with business stakeholders to design and build impactful, intuitive dashboards and reports.
  • Business Intelligence: Partner with engineering to develop data models and standards in order to build analytics-ready, SQL-based data sources. 
  • Strategic Insights: Provide and educate the business with strategic insights to create operational efficiencies, improve member experience and drive retention.
  • Financial Planning: Support the financial reporting cadence with on time and accurate inputs to support the budget vs. actual and forecasting process.

What we want you to bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.
  • Strong modeling & analysis skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
  • Experience or interest coupled with relevant skills in operations management. Operations research experience (e.g. process design / process optimization) would be considered favorably.
  • Competence in manipulating large data sets using SQL.
  • Substantial proficiency in analysis tools and methods (Sheets/Excel, BI platforms, data visualization, & statistics).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders and work cross-functionally.
  • Extensive problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy of work.
  • Track record of continuous improvement (Kaizen) mentality.

What we offer in return:

Compensation Range: $120,000 - $145,000 USD annual base salary.

The salary ranges for the roles are posted for your convenience and review. Please understand that if an offer is presented, the offer compensation package will be based on the relevant position related skills a candidate demonstrates during our formal interview process.
