Financial Analyst, Business Partnership

Our Finance team is expanding, and we’re excited to welcome a Financial Analyst to support our internal business partners. In this key role, you'll help drive ActiveCampaign's strategic and financial objectives. 

Your key responsibilities will include creating financial models, conducting in-depth data analysis, supporting the monthly close and reporting process, and collaborating closely with teams across Engineering, Product, Customer Support, People Team, Operations, and Strategy. 

This position offers high visibility with senior leadership, including our CFO, making it an excellent opportunity to impact the organization significantly.

What your day could consist of:

  • Act as a key financial advisor to leadership, assisting in the analysis of business decisions and delivering key financial perspectives.
  • Assist in preparing presentations for senior leadership, summarizing financial data and insights to support strategic initiatives.
  • Participate in long-range planning, annual budgeting, monthly close, and forecasting processes, focusing on headcount and discretionary spending.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and clarify business drivers.
  • Generate regular financial reports with detailed insights, communicating trends and financial status to business partners.
  • Support the Finance team in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Build expertise in our systems and processes to enable effective business partnerships and consistent reporting.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses as required.

What is needed:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, accompanied by 2-3 years of experience in FP&A.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and applications (Adaptive, Looker, Google Suite).
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus for the right candidate.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to accuracy.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and a strong team player with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn about new technologies from a financial perspective.
