Role :
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the Shared Services team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for Tahaluf.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes in line with timetable and policies.
- Work with event management teams to ensure accurate posting of entries to the GL.
- Prepare and post month end accrual and prepayment entries.
- Perform reviews and provide analysis of P+L and Balance Sheet accounts as required.
- Load data and review data in TM1 to enable accurate reporting of financial results and KPI’s.
- Perform reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Shared Services team in Egypt, to improve financial processes.
- Assist in tax preparation and filings as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Qualified or part qualified Accountant with a recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACA, ACCA, ICAEW).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
