Financial Accountant

Role :

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the Shared Services team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for Tahaluf.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes in line with timetable and policies.
  • Work with event management teams to ensure accurate posting of entries to the GL.
  • Prepare and post month end accrual and prepayment entries.
  • Perform reviews and provide analysis of P+L and Balance Sheet accounts as required.
  • Load data and review data in TM1 to enable accurate reporting of financial results and KPI’s.
  • Perform reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Shared Services team in Egypt, to improve financial processes.
  • Assist in tax preparation and filings as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Qualified or part qualified Accountant with a recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACA, ACCA, ICAEW).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
