Trade Republic is hiring a

Financial Accountant (1 year contract)

Please note that this position is based in Berlin, Germany - relocation support is provided if required.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality and timely monthly financials and ensure reliable and accurate daily finance operations 
  • Champion our operational processes, including e.g. Accruals, Reconciliations, AP / AR and Finance Operations processes
  • Analytical review of balance sheet and PL, and proposing adjustments
  • Support external audit requirements 
  • Report directly to our Financial Accounting Lead and act as main point of contact to other functions e.g. FP&A

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in accounting
  • Relevant university degree in Economics or Accounting
  • Knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting rules, and experience in dealing with an ERP, knowledge of SAP 4HANA would be a great advantage
  • Experience in financial services / banking sectors or in fast-paced environment will be a plus
