We are looking for a Financial Operations & Accounting Specialist to oversee financial processes, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with internal and external standards. Your role will be key in optimizing financial operations, improving reporting efficiency, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Ultimately, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient management of financial operations, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and continuous improvement in financial performance.

Your responsibilities:

Financial Operations & Accounting:

• Ensure accurate financial records in accounting software through controls and analysis.
• Prepare and issue outgoing invoices, monitor receivables, and report on collections.
• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Manage cash flow and oversee budget preparation.

Reporting & Compliance:

• Prepare cost and revenue forecasts.
• Develop internal reports and maintain communication with external accounting service providers.
• Conduct financial data analysis and propose measures to improve financial and operational results.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls in line with best practices and accounting standards.
• Maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements.
• Assist in coordinating annual audits and quarterly reviews with external auditors.
• Oversee tax reporting and inventory processing.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with international corporations and consolidation of reports at a group level (Balkan, EU, and USA entities is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail 
• Control and compliance mindset.
• Experience collaborating with external accounting firms is an advantage.
• Strong commercial and business acumen.
• Proactive self-starter with a process- and deadline-driven mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to perform data and statistical analysis to identify trends and anomalies.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software/tools for reporting and analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certification in accounting is considered a plus
