Responsibilities - Implementation:

Understanding payroll processes: You should have a deep understanding of payroll processes, including tax laws, benefits, compensation, and compliance issues.
- Create solutions to payroll related issues that are unclear and require deep technical knowledge.
- Develops solutions that require collaboration with internal experts and I.T. while understanding impact on end-goal.
- Data migration: Plan, coordinate, and execute the migration of payroll data from existing systems to new ones.
- Audits the HR/Payroll system to ensure data integrity and accuracy as well as overseeing data management, reporting and table updates.
- Provide coaching and training for users, including creating and maintaining formal documentation related to system configuration and procedures.
- Leads progress report which provides update and information on implementation.
Responsibilities - Payroll Management
After the HRIS/Payroll system implementation, the Payroll Implementation Specialist will be moving into payroll BAU role:
- Manage the accuracy of the Company’s HR and payroll systems including, but not limited to, setting up new employees, updating compensation and benefits for existing employees, reflecting terminations, hold-pays and extended leaves.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert that requires technical assistance regarding payroll questions and concerns
- Manage the set-up of holidays and leaves set-up in the HR and payroll systems
- Work with the HR Business Partners in reviewing timekeeping details of employees
- Preparation of final pay of resigned employees
- Manage and review the benefits tracker maintained by the HR Business Partners (including MMR, HMO Additions and Deletions List)
- Management and monitoring of payroll KPI’s of key stakeholders such as completion of PAM’s, clearing of timekeeping exceptions, gathering of necessary data from new hires for payroll processing (e.g. TIN, SSS number, etc.)
- Preparation and filing of government salary compliance deliverables such as SSS, Philhealth, Pag-ibig Remittances, and BIR tax returns
- Processes applications of payroll Debit Cards
PERSONAL SKILLS & QUALITIES

With at least 4+ years of Finance and Accounting experience
- With at least 4+ years handling payroll functions
- Experience collaborating with I.T. in troubleshooting payroll system issues
- Extensive knowledge in Finance and Management reporting is a plus
- Experience in the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word

Preferably with knowledge in using Sprout Payroll Pie and/or HR Hub, or any similar Payroll System
