About the role
- The Global Payroll analyst will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of payroll across multiple international jurisdictions.
- This role demands a deep understanding of global payroll regulations, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex payroll systems.
The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all relevant laws and company policies while providing outstanding support to employees and stakeholders.
What we are looking for

End-to-End Payroll Management: Oversee the complete payroll process for assigned global regions, including data collection, processing, and disbursement. Ensure payroll accuracy and adherence to local, regional, and international regulations.

Regulatory Compliance and Reporting: Monitor and maintain compliance with global payroll laws and regulations. Prepare and review comprehensive payroll reports and documentation to support internal and external audits.

System Administration: Administer and optimise payroll systems (e.g., Workday, pay circle) to facilitate accurate payroll processing. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues as they arise.

Issue Resolution and Support: Address and resolve complex payroll inquiries and discrepancies from employees and internal stakeholders. Manage and respond to payroll-related queries via email or support tickets in a timely and professional manner.

Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of payroll transactions, employee data, and compliance documentation. Generate detailed reports to assist with financial analysis and decision-making.

Collaborative Support: Partner with HR, Finance, and regional payroll teams to ensure seamless payroll operations and alignment with corporate objectives.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to the development of best practices to improve payroll efficiency and accuracy.
What makes you a great fit:
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related discipline. Professional certification in payroll management (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional) is advantageous.

Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in global payroll administration or a related role, demonstrating a proven track record of managing complex multi-country payroll processes.
Technical Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of global payroll regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Proficiency with payroll systems and software (e.g., Workday, pay circle).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply payroll-related data and information.
- Tech savvy
- Strong Microsoft Excel/Gsheet skills
- Experience with Xero or SAP
Personal Attributes:
- Experienced in working with large data sets.
- Confident in business partnering across the organisation and collaborating with departments outside of Finance.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in managing and responding to payroll-related queries through email and support ticket systems.
- Ability to stick to tight deadlines.
