What you'll do:
- Prepare and record month end postings, review month end journals prepared by Analysts and offshore team, maintain various balance sheet reconciliations and schedules and analyse monthly financial results, including presenting to Director of Finance and reporting to Sony Global Finance
- Oversee monthly accounts receivable invoicing, twice weekly trade accounts payable payments, monthly client royalty payments, and weekly cash flow analysis
- Assist with new Finance systems development and integration and process improvement projects
- Review and approve purchase requisitions and employee travel and expense reports
- Coordinate year end audit requests and assist to prepare statutory accounts
- Ownership of VAT and withholding tax submissions
- Ad hoc finance projects and analysis
Who you are:
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Ideally you will have 5+ years of finance experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with SAP, BPC, and Looker is a plus
- Must be detail oriented
- Positive, can do attitude
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Works well to tight deadlines
