Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Manage the financial reporting process, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor and analyze financial data, providing key insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and tax filings.
Stay updated on accounting regulations, industry trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting professional growth.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5-8 years of experience
CPA or CMA certificate is a must.
Proven experience as a Finance Manager, or in a similar senior accounting role.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing and developing a team.
Demonstrated integrity, ethics, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Fluent in English & Arabic
