THE ROLE

Reporting into the Head of Finance & Control the Finance Manager will be responsible for managing financial operations including: daily management of all financial and administrative affairs, financial planning and control, modeling, budgeting, internal control and reporting. The ideal candidate has expertise in both Dutch GAAP and US GAAP and is knowledgeable in IFRS.


YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY

  • Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with both Dutch GAAP,US GAAP and IFRS

  • Conducting financial analysis considering both Dutch and US GAAP principles, as well as IFRS, identifying trends, deviations, and potential areas of concern or improvement

  • Providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making by senior management, considering the impact under both accounting frameworks

  • Managing all accounting operations for multiple and international entities, including newly to be established local entities globally, looking after billing, AR and AP, tax filings, bank reconciliation and other compliance matters

  • Managing intercompany consolidation and balance sheet reconciliation

  • Managing intercompany transaction, executing on internal transfer pricing models

  • Developing and maintaining robust internal control framework to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data

  • Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

  • Coordinating with auditors to facilitate annual audits, addressing any audit findings and ensuring compliance

  • Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

  • Managing internal budgeting and procurement approval workflows

  • Supporting monthly VAT and other tax filings

  • Helping with further development/implementation of MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operation functionality and modules

  • Booking general accrual and journal entries, including payroll

  • Preparing cash flow statements and projections
