Finance Manager Job Opportunity (ACCA or CIMA Qualified)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Manager to join our growing team in Leamington Spa (hybrid working). This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated finance professional who is ACCA or CIMA qualified, with a strong background in financial management and a passion for driving business success.

About the Role:

As the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing the company’s financial operations. You will work closely with senior management to provide financial insights, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive strategic financial planning. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a blend of hands-on financial management and strategic decision-making. My Client is a small business that has received significant investment and is now growing fast. We need someone who has small business experience who is used to dealing with all aspects of Client contact. You will be an integral part of the expansion of the business (Software)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing variance analysis and recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Management Accounts: Oversee the production of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and manage working capital effectively.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including VAT returns, payroll, and year-end audits.
  • Business Partnering: Work closely with department heads to understand and manage their budgets, providing financial support and guidance.
  • Cost Control: Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement financial controls across the business.
  • ACCA or CIMA qualification (essential).
  • Proven experience in a finance management role, ideally within [Industry/sector].
  • Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a team.
  • Proactive, with a problem-solving mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
