Finance Manager Revenue Reporting Planning

Primary Function of Position

The Finance Manager, Revenue Reporting and Planning heads up the finance team that plays a critical role in the reporting, research, and planning of the company’s revenue. This highly visible role partners across the finance organization, business partnering with senior finance leadership as well as the global finance and sales operations organization. As the manager of the Revenue Reporting and Planning team, you will help to drive better business outcomes through execution of monthly close and quarterly forecast process, as well as ad-hoc strategic analyses.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of high performing finance analysts
  • Develop and report financial metrics core to measuring operating performance.
  • Review, model and present scenarios and trends in key business metrics for executive leadership
  • Manage/drive best practices in revenue review, insights, reporting, and planning processes across global teams
  • Drive and partner with FP&A teams to deliver business insights relating to revenue
  • Support and drive a culture of inclusion, diversity, and collaboration
  • Forecast weekly procedure expectations which are distributed across our Commercial and Finance leadership teams to provide visibility into current trends
  • Support the SIOP process by translating financial forecast plans to demand planning requirements

Skill/Job Requirements

  • A minimum 5+ years of relevant finance experience
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, management and leadership skills including excellent interpersonal, communication with proven executive presence and ability to deliver business insights
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication and business partnering skills
  • Ability to manage and motivate peers and team to deliver high-quality, accurate results that positively impact the business
  • Deep business acumen, strategic thinker and ability to master our business model through a deep knowledge of financial systems, data-backed tools and languages including Hyperion, Anaplan, Tableau and SQL
  • Self-starter with a high degree of curiosity and the ability to establish clear priorities and goals
  • Exceptional ability to manage a team effectively through ambiguity to deliver on-time, accurate and high-quality results
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field; MBA and/or CPA is a plus
