As a Finance Manager at Liftoff, you will: 

  • Identify areas of opportunity for revenue growth or risk aversion to be presented and discussed with various commercial and executive leaders on an ongoing basis.

  • Develop financial reporting systems and data visualization for senior leadership to accurately track and monitor performance, KPIs, and business health.

  • Perform continuous improvement of systems, processes, and controls.

  • Perform Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis for the Executive, GTM, and Product organizations.

  • Identify and communicate key business drivers at an executive level on a daily basis.

  • Participate in the reporting, presentation and communication of Monthly/Quarterly/Annual performance reviews (both internal and external, i.e. Board of Directors materials).

  • Support in setting sales targets and management targets on a quarterly basis; identifying areas for discussion with leadership.

  • Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to partner with the GTM Organization, including running/supporting Go-To-Market Meetings, aiding in forecasting for the sales organization, and data visualization requests.

  • Lead & guide the conversation, as related to financial well-being, to the most high-impact and relevant topics for a cross-functional group.

  • Telecommuting is permitted. Employee may request to work from any city & county in the following states: CA, CO, ID, IL, GA, MA, MO, MN, NJ, NV, NY, OR, RI, TX, UT, WA.

  • Salary: $171,454 - $175,000 per year. 


    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or U.S. equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as Financial Manager, Financial Analyst or any occupation/position/job title involving Commercial or Product Finance.


    In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as Financial Manager, Financial Analyst or any occupation/position/job title involving Commercial or Product Finance.


    Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience utilizing data visualization tools or analysis tools including Tableau, Salesforce, Looker, or Excel; 3 years of professional experience balancing short-term, long-term, and ad-hoc projects across multiple stakeholders; 3 years of professional experience utilizing accounting software (including NetSuite); 3 years of professional experience performing business and system analysis (including root cause analysis, process modeling, and systems design); 3 years of professional experience in financial planning (including building quarterly or annual forecasts).

Liftoff's compensation strategy includes competitive market rate along with equity and benefits and perks that will give our employees what they need to do their best work. In order to ensure teams are compensated fairly for the work performed, we map out specific levels and take into consideration the cost of labor within each location. Liftoff provides employees a total compensation package of competitive market salaries, equity, health and wellness stipends, medical benefits associated with your country of residence. The base compensation will vary based on location, experience as well as level.
