Finance Manager

We are looking for someone to be in charge of the end-to-end financial processes and systems of Grain. You will run the department with a view to building a strong in-house team under your leadership. Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate monthly closing to track company performance.
  • Operate day-to-day finance operations.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure integrity of reporting and compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide support on strategic initiatives and decision-making processes.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure customer delight while collecting payments.
  • Ensure payments are made to suppliers in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to ensure the legitimacy and accuracy of invoices.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and reporting requirements.
