Our SelectLeaders client is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”) to provide financial analysis, as well as assist with other capital markets-related and operational activities. The candidate will primarily report to the VP of Corporate Finance. The ideal candidate for this position is highly organized yet adaptable, data-savvy with an intellectual curiosity, a drive for constant improvement, and has the ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a fast paced environment with autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the five-year earnings projection model
- Maintain key leasing and portfolio-level statistics
- Assist with annual company-wide budgeting process
- Draft quarterly and annual lender compliance materials for submission
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, presentations, and disclosures for internal and external stakeholders, including the Board of Directors
- Collaborate with the Investor Relations team on guidance tracking and equity analyst model analysis
- Evaluate and create processes to ensure departmental efficiency;
- Support ad-hoc efforts and reporting requests from senior management, investors and other external stakeholders
- As required, coordinate and assist other departments, including Accounting, Acquisitions, and Development in support of their operations to achieve corporate objectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field with 5+ years of financial planning and analysis experience
- Prior knowledge of commercial real estate finance preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with a tenacity toward meeting deadlines, a strong sense of urgency and good self-management discipline
- Ability to function in a high-performing team-oriented setting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
The base pay range for this role is between $125,000 and $175,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, experience and training, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
