About the role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and data-driven Finance Manager to partner with our Go-to-Market team in delivering on our strategic initiatives to accelerate programs across Auctane brands. The successful candidate will support senior business and marketing Leaders in developing strategic initiatives, dive deep into business drivers, identify measures of success and performance benchmarks, and build and implement mechanisms to drive governance and cross-functional ownership.

****THIS POSITION IS LOCATED in Austin, TX and is on-site/in-office 3 Days a Week (Tues/Wed/Thurs).

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and data-driven Finance Manager to partner with our Go-to-Market team in delivering on our strategic initiatives to accelerate programs across Auctane brands. The successful candidate will support senior business and marketing Leaders in developing strategic initiatives, dive deep into business drivers, identify measures of success and performance benchmarks, and build and implement mechanisms to drive governance and cross-functional ownership.

About the Team

Auctane’s Finance team is responsible for driving key strategic initiatives, generating insights into business performance, and leading financial decisions across the Company. We partner with Senior Management and business unit leaders by providing effective decision-making support to drive long-term business performance.

What will you be doing?

• Developing financial forecasts and budgets to track marketing expenses by brand for business stakeholders
• Helping business leaders understand and drive ROI for marketing initiatives, while keeping a pulse on similar indicators such as CAC, LTV, and MQL/SQL
• Analyzing and reporting on variances to forecast and budget; identifying areas of risks or opportunity for improvement
• Researching expenses and helping the business manage to budgets
• Assisting stakeholders with the ownership of driving strategy and analysis for multiple marketing channels
• Partnering with the business to evaluate the impact of decisions on financials
• Coordinating with the rest of the FP&A team to produce monthly forecasts and long-term financial plans

What are we looking for?

• Proven work experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Finance Manager or similar role
• Excellent analytical skills, a proactive communicator and creative problem solver
• Strong business acumen and influencing skills
• Strong oral and written interpersonal skills
• Ability to present and communicate financial data and insights
• Strong track record of business partnership
• Agile, flexible, and responsive approach to work

The Tech

• Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)
• Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slide, etc.)

Required Education

• BS degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
