As intern in the Business Control and Performance Management area your main duties will be:
- Report to and support the Senior Business Controller EFNI – Finance Ireland, with a primary focus on supporting the Irish project pipeline in construction and operations, comprising of onshore wind, solar and grid services projects.
- Support the finance workstreams on M&A Processes: supporting due diligence review processes, supporting the preparation of decision gate papers for financial decision review, coordinating with a number of teams including legal, tax and compliance teams and assisting in finalising of transaction in terms of funding including follow up of post completion actions.
- Supporting the finance team on integration of new companies and assets.
- Supporting the cashflow management for operational and construction pipeline of projects in Ireland as required.
- Supporting the month end tasks for the projects including preparation of month end revenue and cost accruals.
- Preparation of monthly spend and activity reports to the various steerco committees and stakeholders for both operational and construction projects as required.
- Supporting the management of the Power BI dashboard for projects ensuring reconciliation to SAP and update variance analysis commentary.
- Assisting in the preparation of quarterly internal business review packs for Europe Region 1.
- Close collaboration with other business controllers within Europe Region 1 and other regions.
- Assisting on system controlling of SAP –management of project & non project specific cost codes, management of cost centres, implementation of settlements rules and decision gates on SAP.
- General contribution to the finance team competence in Statkraft, including maintenance of high standards and improvement initiatives.
- Current Student of a Financial related college course
