Finance Controls Senior Analyst

Summary

As an important member of the GFS Team reporting to the Revenue Controls Manager, you will contribute to the financial integrity of the organization. You will maintain and oversee general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with IFRS and company policies. You’ll participate in critical financial processes that support month-end and year-end activities while collaborating with multiple company partners. Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and Propose ICFR implementation plans, ensuring agreement on regulatory standards and organization policies.
  • Review and assess existing ICFR requirements to ensure they are up to date and are effective.
  • Implement changes or improvements to ICFR processes and controls, ensuring the documentation is comprehensive.
  • Collaborate with both onshore and offshore teams to integrate ICFR requirements into their processes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate testing activities across different teams to ensure ICFR controls are integrated and functional.
  • Address any issues or gaps identified during testing and work with relevant teams to resolve them promptly.
  • Review end-to-end processes and Balance Sheet reconciliations to determine risks and install a control environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, or a related field. Additional education or certifications in the area is an ideal.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in account reconciliation; experience with Six Sigma projects as an ideal.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools MS Excel, MS Word, and Power BI.
  • Experience with SOX Controls or ICFR implementation.
  • Previous experience installing controls environments for finance processes.
