Finance Change Manager (FCM)

Reporting to the VP Finance Control, this key role oversees and leads change in the Finance Control pillar with a focus on improvement rather than routine tasks. Finance Control handles the Order to Cash (O2C) and Record to Report (R2R) functions, ensuring efficient revenue booking.

The FCM will track performance metrics and deliver change projects to improve efficiency, emphasizing technology integration and automation. Additionally, the FCM will manage Finance Control’s outsourcing relationships, overseeing the transition and maturation of a BPO contract for O2C activities and exploring further outsourcing opportunities.

Shape and Deliver Change

  • Drive process and system improvements within Finance Control
  • Maintain the functional model/service catalogue for O2C and R2R activities
  • Assess and respond to changes from projects, acquisitions, policy shifts, or external events
  • Provide project management and business analysis for smaller projects
  • Contribute to ERP strategy for T&F
  • Stay updated on industry best practices to bring new ideas and challenge existing processes

BPO Service Management

  • Act as the main liaison with BPO service providers
  • Oversee BPO activities, ensuring compliance with contracts and SLAs
  • Monitor BPO performance metrics to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Develop and implement process improvements within BPO operations
  • Handle escalations related to BPO issues and resolve them promptly

Planning and Reporting

  • Help set key performance metrics for Finance Control
  • Contribute to the annual operating plan and budget by prioritizing future projects

Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with technology stakeholders to prioritize efforts and ensure delivery
  • Manage outsourcing relationships from opportunity identification to service transition
  • Liaise with Global Process Owners to ensure compliance with group policies and efficiency improvements
  • Ensure adherence to Group policy and control obligations (e.g., RACMs)
  • Promote efficient and consistent working practices across Finance Control
  • Manage and develop the Change Analyst direct report

Desirable

  • Experience with outsourcing/BPO, service transition, and delivery
  • CIMA/ACCA or equivalent qualification
  • Degree in accounting or finance
  • Project management/business process improvement qualifications (e.g., Prince2/Six Sigma)

  • Inquisitive, detail-oriented, and analytical
  • Collaborative across projects and organizations
  • Able to mentor and coach, including senior staff
  • Constructive challenger with excellent relationship skills
  • Experience managing change and supporting engagement programs
  • Proven results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong experience in technology change and benefits realization
  • Extensive Finance ERP experience (ideally SAP)
