We expect the Finance Business Partner to:
- Partner with business lines to deliver strategic financial insights,
- Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes,
- Develop financial models to aid decision-making,
- Provide periodic reporting for senior management, including providing analysis and insights that link financial reports to business strategies,
- Deliver financial literacy training to staff,
- Improve the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance,
- Review client accounts and projects to identify risks and underperformance of finances early,
- Undertake due diligence research on acquisitions and mergers,
- Communicate opportunities for improvement,
- Develop and maintaining relationships across the business.
Must-have skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business or economic field,
- +6 years of experience working as a Finance Business Partner or Head of Finance,
- Professional qualifications, including completing an internationally recognized accounting designation such as CPA, ACA, ACMA, or ACCA,
- Experience working with business requirements,
- Ability to make complex decisions and rationalize them according to others,
- Strong analytical skills, ability to work with a large amount of information,
- Strong knowledge of Excel,
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage upcoming deliverables.,
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, including effective communication abilities with individual colleagues, relevant teams, and senior management and board members,
- Strong negotiation, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience working with financial software is a plus.
