About the Role:

The Finance & Bizops (FBOS) internship is a 12-week hybrid summer experience that blends learning with impact. Our interns are embedded directly into our team, contributing immediately to impactful projects and constant learning.

About the Team:

You will join the FBOS team supporting the Customer Experience organization with transitioning to the next phase of growth as we continue to serve more customers. You will dive into the data to help surface actionable insights for key decision makers, help enhance reporting capabilities, and review existing agreements for cost savings opportunities among other tasks.

Position Logistics & Details: 

  • This position is a Hybrid role with expectations to be in office 2 days per week. This position will be located in our Denver, CO Office. Relocation and housing assistance will be provided during this internship for those outside of Colorado.
  • This position is slated to start on May 20th, 2024 and will conclude on August 9th, 2024.
  • This position is open to both rising 4th year Bachelors students and graduating Bachelors students. 
  • We do not guarantee any offers of full time employment after completion of this internship.
  • The Deadline to apply to this position is March 31st, 2024

Here’s What You’ll Do:

  • Work cross-functionally to complete high impact projects
  • Develop technical and financial skills as you tackle challenging projects
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities and offer simple, innovative solutions
  • Assist with various aspects of the closing process such as researching variances and preparing monthly reports

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

  • Rising 4th year or recent graduate in an undergraduate degree program in Finance, Accounting or a related field. Active participation in relevant extracurricular activities or clubs is preferred.
  • Quick learner, strong intellectual curiosity, strong analytical and communication skills
  • Candidates with a service mindset, bringing a positive attitude to work everyday with the goal to produce outcomes that positively impact our Customers, Members, and Gusties
  • Structured thinker with sound attention to detail with the ability to find, analyze, and summarize information from a variety of sources

 

Our cash compensation range for this role is targeted at $33.00/hr in Denver. We offer a $500 relocation package and $1500/month housing stipend for those who do not live in the Denver Metro area. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.


Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.

Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas. 

When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required.
