Job Summary:

Supporting of various roles within the finance team as and where necessary, act as holiday cover were needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational

  • Assist colleagues within the department to perform other financial tasks
  • Prepare and process bank deposits and withdrawals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Process and record daily cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Generate invoices for the Sales and Marketing advertising in line with the company tracker and ensure all invoices are paid in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer balances and ensure timely collections
  • Posting of Sterling invoices
  • Travel expenses function and reconciliation
  • Weekly payment run
  • Investigation and resolution of any credit liabilities
  • Keep on top of Inboxes and queries
  • Report on Budgets and overspending of each department

Compliance

  • Ensure that departmental processes and procedures are adhered to.
  • Adhere to HR Policies and Procedures.
  • Undertake mandatory training as directed.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding clients’ and colleagues’ personal information. This includes:
  • Using IT devices and systems only as instructed
  • Being familiar, and complying with, data security policies made available to you
  • Knowing how to recognise, and report, security incidents
  • Adhere to other compliance areas such as Health and Safety, Anti-Bribery and Corruption and ISO legislation.
