Who We Want
Arrive is seeking a summer intern to assist in various aspects of Finance and Accounting functions. This is a paid position which will include rotational assignments in Accounting, Treasury, Forecasting, Tax, Payroll, and Financial Analysis. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various critical functions and contribute to our continued success.
What You’ll Do
Prepare journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations and assist in preparation of monthly financial statements. (7 days in accounting for each of the June - August month-end close process)
Participate in routine cash flow and liquidity forecasting processes.
Participate in the monthly P&L re-forecasting process by completing Budget vs Actual analysis for several departments.
Prepare analysis of a potential impairment of the San Antonio office lease.
Review GAAP income to Taxable Income reconciliation and allocations to partners.
Review freight claims reporting worksheets for simplification.
Participate in processing payroll for two payroll runs.
Review Mexico and Canada financial statements and currency translation.
Qualifications
Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance on a full-time basis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A commitment to keep sensitive information private and confidential.
Basic MS Excel skills required and basic Google Suite skills is a plus.
