This role is designed for individuals who are keen to develop their finance skills and support the management of accounting and cash operations. As a Finance Analyst, you will assist with the preparation of management accounts, and financial operations, and play a supportive role in audits and reporting. You'll be instrumental in enhancing our finance function, contributing to the success of a high-growth international startup.

What you will do ✍️

• Assist in preparing management accounts for all group entities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards;
• Support key financial operations, including cash and balance sheet reconciliations, accounts payable, payroll, ERS, VAT, and other relevant global taxes;
• Contribute to statutory and other audits, offering support across multiple entities;
• Assist in the reporting for our SPV entity and liaise with capital providers as needed;
• Help maintain documentation for accounting policies, transfer pricing policy, and related items;
• Aid in resolving issues and promote controls and process improvements, utilising data and automation where feasible;
• Collaborate with the business to enhance understanding of financial actuals and variance analysis to budget.

Requirements

Who you are 👀

• Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) eager to grow your career;
• Experience working in a top accountancy firm or in a high growth company (Fintech would be a plus!);
• Familiarity with accounting principles and comfortable with the basics of financial accounting, ideally previous exposure to financial instruments;
• Experience with accounting software and tools such as Xero, Quickbooks, Netsuite, Dext, Pleo, GoCardless;
• Proficient in Excel / GSheets, comfortable with managing data sets and formulas;
• A motivated individual with a keen eye for detail, who thrives in a startup environment;
• Able to work well both in a team and independently;
• Interest in SQL or willingness to learn new skills and self-develop.
