We are seeking a Finance Administrator to join our team, committed to delivering exceptional support to our employees and clients. As a Finance Administrator, you will Shine Hope as you oversee and perform financial tasks related to contract accounting and billing, financial analysis, and related functions. What you'll do:
- Monitor and manage contract billing processes, ensuring alignment with program guidelines and internal financial policies.
- Oversee contract expenditures, budgets, and billing, ensuring compliance with statements of work.
- Review and compile expenses, verifying documentation and budget alignment.
- Prepare billing for approved expenses and contracts.
- Develop policies and procedures to ensure financial compliance with contracts and regulations.
- Conduct financial reviews and coordinate audits and program monitoring.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to track contract performance.
- Provide financial support to Buckner personnel and assist in procurement proposals and contract negotiations.
- Advise on financial risks and opportunities for new contracts and suggest financial improvements for current contracts.
- Develop and deliver training modules for field staff as directed.
- Independently research, analyze data and produce reports.
What you’ll bring:
- Requires ability and proficient understanding of contract design, financial analysis, budgetary management and development of policies and procedures. This field of knowledge is normally associated with either:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in business or related field, plus 2 years of similar experience; or
- 5 years of related experience in financial services to include accounting and billing, financial analysis and other financial supportive functions.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Proficient understanding of contract design, financial analysis, budgetary management and development of policies and procedures.
- Perform computer related tasks with specific equipment and software applications such as Microsoft 365.
- Preferred experience with accounting software, such as PowerPlan and Financial Edge.
- Time-management and organization skills.
- May need to work outside normal business hours, including nights and weekends, to meet client and business needs.
- Ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 pounds continuously to move objects.
- Ability to walk, stand and sit, sometimes for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to drive assigned vehicle(s) or personal vehicle, with appropriate state license, following all laws applicable; must provide proof of liability insurance and must be eligible to be insured under Buckner’s insurance policy.
