Purpose of the Role: The Finance / Admin Specialist is integral to supporting both the operational and financial aspects of our inspection processes. This role demands close collaboration with the Technical Manager and Operations Managers, ensuring our business operates smoothly and aligns with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Assistance: Assist in preparing and managing commercial proposals, communicating with clients, and supporting the operational management of work orders to ensure their timely and accurate execution.
  • Administration and Accounting: Manage day-to-day financial tasks including invoicing, accruals, and financial reporting, while maintaining compliance with ISO 17020 and our internal policies.
  • Quality Management System Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to our Quality Management System (QMS), update and maintain QMS records relevant to administrative and financial operations.

Education: Higher diploma or university degree (first or second level).

Experience: No prior professional experience required; comprehensive training will be provided.

Skills:

  • Proficient in English.
  • Proficiency in French is highly preferred.
  • Basic understanding of financial management and accounting software (considered a plus, not required).
  • Knowledge of ISO 17020 standards is beneficial but not essential.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities.

Personal Attributes: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at problem-solving and conflict resolution, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
