Flash is seeking a dedicated Field Technician to provide regional onsite support and exceptional service to our clients within a specific area. In this role, you will be a crucial part of the Flash Support Services team, responsible for a range of tasks from installation oversight to complex problem-solving on various equipment types. What You'll Do:

  • Manage installations with guidance from the Project Manager, leveraging internal and partner relationships to fully understand the scope and nature of each assigned project.
  • Commission and test all aspects and functionality of Flash equipment upon installation completion.
  • Service, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, ensuring all hardware, systems, and equipment are tested and working properly before leaving clients' locations.
  • Complete commissioning documents, provide onsite hardware client training, and handle other necessary communications related to the project and team.
  • Make final terminations, including low voltage control and network wiring connecting to the units/devices.
  • Ensure clients are fully educated and trained on the use and maintenance of all hardware, systems, and equipment.
  • Be familiar with various gate manufacturers and model/types to successfully program multiple variations per project nature and scope.

What You Bring:

  • Strong customer-facing communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong professional business ethics, including building and maintaining constructive working relationships, implementing proactive and concise communication, acting as a resource to colleagues, and engaging in collaborative thinking and problem solving.
  • Experience in parking/mobility tech and a flexible approach to dynamic role demands.
  • The ability to quickly learn and understand new hardware/electronic components as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience with increasing responsibility in a technical field, preferably in a parking industry-related environment.
  • Experience communicating with colleagues and customers in a technical support environment.
  • Customer success, project coordination, or technical experience.
  • PARCS experience, Access Control/CCTV experience, and CompTIA A+, Network+ certifications are preferred.
  • This dynamic role provides an excellent path to growth within Field Operations or into many other roles within our growing organization.
