Eurofins is seeking a Field Specialist (Federal Project) in the Pueblo, CO area. This role involves sample receipt, login and shipping.

Field Specialist responsibilities include:

  • Sample receipt, documentation, shipping and dropping off coolers at FedEx station
  • IATA/DOT Hazardous materials shipping (Will train)
  • Tracking of sample shipments
  • Occasional report writing and data review.
  • Inventory and ordering sampling/shipping supplies.
  • Occasionally handles courier duties of transporting samples from site to Denver lab or picking up coolers from the Denver lab
  • Setting and assembling Air sampling equipment
  • Using portable flow meters

Basic minimum requirements:

  • BS in a science field is preferred but not necessary
  • Chemistry or Environmental Science preferred
  • Authorization to work in the US indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PDF programs, data entry)
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Federal Site: annual drug screening and random drug screening

Full-time position Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm. Schedule subject to change during heavy sample receipts. Occasional weekend work may be required. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Pueblo, CO are encouraged to apply.

Pay range: $21-23/hr

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
