THE ROLE
As Field Services Engineer- NL, you will be tasked with ensuring Skytree’s products (Direct Air Capture Machines) are supported and maintained effectively and efficiently on a national and international scale through our Uptime Assurance SLA’s and a network of internal technicians and external services support companies.
This is an exciting and challenging role where you will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting services on-site, directly at the location of our equipment across European countries, as well as providing remote support and guidance to customer technical teams.
Customer satisfaction and delight will be at the forefront of everything you do as well as maintaining high excellence standards. Overall, you will be responsible for maintenance, repairs and support activities to achieve uptime assurance to our customers across Europe. Reporting to the Field Services Manager- NL, this role will be based in Amsterdam at our European headquarters. Regular travel to contractor and customer sites can be expected.
YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY
Supporting the installation of new DAC machines as required, ensuring proper setup and configuration. Conducting thorough commissioning procedures to verify optimal operation and performance.
Developing and improving preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and prolong the lifespan of DAC machines.
Diagnosing and resolving technical issues that may arise with DAC machines. This involves identifying faults reported by both the system and raised tickets, identifying trends and root cause analysis to define corrective actions.
Collecting and analyzing performance data from DAC machines to identify areas for improvement. Implement optimization strategies to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Defining, automating, and analyzing technical processes to improve the performance and reliability of equipment in the field.
Developing operational procedures and guidelines to support field operations activities.
Providing technical training to on-site personnel, empowering them to effectively operate and maintain DAC machines. This includes instructional materials on troubleshooting procedures, safety protocols, and data analysis.
Offering remote technical assistance when necessary, utilizing teleconferencing and remote diagnostics tools to address issues promptly.
Promoting and driving continuous QHS&E training to improve troubleshooting skills for field services support.
Ensuring compliance with Skytree QHSE standards through regular audit of technical staff and service partners.
Reporting safety related issues which occur and ensure the team takes corrective action to prevent recurrence.
Conducting After action reviews and finalizing close out reports for both customer and global services function.
