We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team in Zaragoza, Spain. As a crucial member of our service department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and optimizing our advanced sensor-based sorting systems across Center-North East Spain.
- Install, commission, and maintain sensor-based sorting equipment at customer sites
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal system performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and support
- Optimize sorting systems through sampling, testing, and process improvements
- Travel extensively within the assigned region (up to 80% of the time)
- Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for additional products and services
- Gather and report customer feedback to improve service quality and identify new opportunities
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends in recycling and sorting systems
- Completed secondary technical school (FP2) or higher in electrician/electronics, automatics, industrial maintenance, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in computer programs, PC configuration, and network structures
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills and customer-oriented approach
- Fluency in Spanish (native level) and proficiency in English
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the region
- Physical fitness to perform on-site installations and maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and customer needs
- Experience in an industrial environment, preferably with a focus on maintenance (preferred)
- Familiarity with sensor-based sorting systems or recycling processes (preferred)
- Analytical mindset and goal-oriented approach to optimize system performance
