Maintain, service and repair TOMRA's pioneering Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) installations and bulk processing equipment within SEQLD to ensure maximum uptime & customer satisfaction.
This role will focus on conveyors, sensors, motors, mobile comms and other equipment. Driving between locations is a large part of the role & so a clean driving record & love for being on the road is paramount. This is a highly autonomous position that would suit someone who enjoys working individually.
What you’ll be doing:
- Servicing and maintaining installed equipment
- Reporting on service assignments and faults
- Installing kiosks and bulk processing equipment at new sites
- Providing excellent customer service to our partners and members of the public
- Analyse areas of potential improvement of products and report to local service team
- Undertake cleaning of equipment
Qualifications
To be a successful Field Service Technician you will have:
- Certificate III level qualification in a trade( Electrical or Mechanical) OR proven experience that relates directly to the work carried out.
- Previous experience interacting face to face with customers on site
- Very strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities, especially in relation to mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment
- Experience in troubleshooting electronic equipment and be able to replace circuit boards, sensors and other electronic components
- Unrestricted driver’s license and willing to submit a full driving history record
- Ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends
