What will you be doing? 

We are looking for a diligent and committed Electronic Engineer to join us as in the role of Field Service Navigation Engineer and to be part of our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible to install, repair and maintain Bridge Radio Navigation and Safety equipment on board of shipping vessels as well as providing a five-star customer service. This includes GMDSS equipment, VDR, Radars, ECDIS, Gyrocompass, MF/HF, VHF Radios, Autopilot, Echo sounder and Speed log. This role has both regional and abroad travel.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Electronic Engineering.
  • Excellent technical skills with minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role as Bridge Navigation service engineer.
  • Perform periodical and special radio inspections according to IMO and Class regulations.
  • Perform VDR Annual Performance Tests according to makers’ specifications.
  • Perform Installation, maintenance and repair of GMDSS and Navigation equipment.
  • Load, update, and modify software in Bridge equipment.
  • Study Scope of Works and make necessary preparations.
  • Provide remote support and assistance/troubleshooting issues relating to our products.
  • Update his knowledge by attending training seminars.
  • Maintain the knowledge bank with all manuals of makers we represent and latest IMO and Class regulations.

Great to have:

  • At least 3 years working experience as periodical and special radio inspector according to IMO and Class regulations.
  • Cobham, JRC, Sperry, Furuno, Danelec, Tokimec, Anschutz, YDK Certifications will be considered a plus
