As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for:

Field Service Work: Perform maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and optimization of food sorting machines across Balkan countries, Slovakia, Austria, and Hungary.

Provide Technical Support: Assist clients with technical issues and sorter performance, including remote support.

Field Reporting: Create detailed field reports after installations or technical interventions.

Training: Train customer maintenance and service personnel, as well as TSS Service Engineers, on-site.

Service and Sales Support: Prepare for service visits, support service sales offers, and assist Sales and Project Management.

Efficiency and Documentation: Ensure effective field service work in terms of costs and timing, and work with the technical team to get sufficient documentation.

Feedback and Improvement: Provide feedback to other departments and suggest improvement possibilities (quality/efficiency/profitability).
We are looking for a candidate who meets the following criteria:

Educational Background: Completed secondary technical school or higher, specializing in electrician/electronics, automatics, industrial maintenance, or a related field.

Work Experience: 2-3 years of relevant work experience in an industrial environment, focusing on on-site preventive and curative maintenance.

Language Skills: Fluent/Native Slovak and proficient in English is mandatory, any other language is a plus

Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of mechanical engineering, with in-depth knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting. Basic knowledge of electrical power circuits and PLC circuits (advantageous). Familiarity with computer hardware, PC configuration, network structures, and configurations is preferred.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent technical problem-solving, troubleshooting, and follow-up skills.

Customer Relations: Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management. Capable of understanding and relating to customers’ views and issues across different cultures.

Location and Travel: Willingness to travel internationally 80% of the time

Additional Requirements: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
