As a Field Service Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of our innovative home energy solutions in the field. Your expertise will be crucial in swiftly resolving complex issues, guaranteeing uninterrupted service for our customers.
What you will do:
Act as a bridge between the Product and Operations departments, ensuring prompt issue resolution with a primary focus on customer satisfaction
Perform remote diagnostics and system debugging using data logged by internal systems.
Act as the third tier of support for field issues, efficiently troubleshooting complex technical problems to minimize system downtime.
Identify trends and patterns in field failures, providing valuable feedback to the development team for future designs.
Collaborate with the development department to investigate new issues and implement effective countermeasures.
Design and implement Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) for the installation, commissioning, and servicing of house-heating systems.
Assist in root cause analysis of field issues.
Contribute to the development of preventive maintenance strategies.
Provide technical training and guidance to internal teams.
Occasionally travel to customer sites for onsite root cause analysis.
Develop processes and documentation for standard service actions.
