This role will manage a sales territory in Denver, CO and surrounding markets, focused on outside sales and account management of fluid control, fluid filtration and fluid handling products and customers.
Essential Functions
- Work with your Manager to create a sales plan to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts
- Full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, and sales presentations
- Work with management and operations to implement strategies that support profitable sales growth
- Collaborate with knowledgeable customer service and technical support teams who will assist you in meeting and
- exceeding your goals
- Work well in a team environment, are hard-working, results-driven, and motivated to win.
- Utilization of tools, resources and CRM to plan and manage time and territory
Experience, Education and Skills
- HS Diploma or GED
- Bachelors degree in sales, marketing or engineering is preferred
- 1+ years of outside sales experience selling industrial products and services
- Previous experience selling products focused on fluid control systems, fluid filtration systems, fluid handling or similar is preferred
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to give presentations
- Mechanical aptitude and basic mathematical skills
- Proficient in the use of computer and general office applications such as Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc., and ability to learn and effectively use a CRM.
- Valid Drivers License
